Can I put tea tree oil in other products besides shampoo and conditioner?

I've been using it for years to prevent dandruff and lice but I was wondering if it can be put in stuff like straightening serums and hair spray?Can I put tea tree oil in other products besides shampoo and conditioner?
i put a drop in my face lotion
